Inviting new Treekeepers. DCCA promotes the use of ooze tubes and recognizes Dupont Circle residents and businesses who actively care for trees.  Contact Robin Diener, President (AT) Dupont-Circle (DOT) org, or Ingrid Peterson, ingrid (DOT) r (DOT) peterson (AT) gmail (DOT) com, for a free ooze tube for a street tree or residential tree. The initial ooze tube setup will be done for you; afterward you must continue to care for the tree, by refilling the ooze tube with water every two weeks.  At that point, you become an official DCCA Treekeeper!  The map below shows where Treekeepers already are caring for neighborhood trees.  Visit DCCA Treekeepers on Facebook for more information.

Founded in 1922 in a townhouse at 1767 P Street, “to promote and protect the interests of the residents,” the Dupont Circle Citizens Association (DCCA) has been the premier civic and residential organization in the Dupont Circle area.

DCCA brings neighbors together to enjoy and improve the quality of life in our diverse urban neighborhood. DCCA holds membership meetings 9 times a year, runs the Dupont House Tour, has committees working on all sorts of issues, donates to good local causes, and incubates new projects.
