MidCity Artists: Open Studios Saturday, May 14th & Sunday, May 15th!

Who are the Mid City Artists? They are a diverse and talented group of professional artists who have come together for the purpose of promoting their art and the Dupont/Logan neighborhoods of Washington DC that they call home.

Twice each year, the private studios of select member artists are open for visitors. MCA offers visitors a rare glimpse into the artists' working space with unique locations ranging from offices, retail, carriage houses, spare bedrooms, apartments to basements. Hang out with friends, circulate through the neighborhood, check out the art, eat, drink and be merry! Be inspired! Buy local! Discover painting, photography, sculpture, glass, mixed media, prints and much more.

Enjoy a day touring with friends and observing the artistic process.
Explore how artists have carved out their working spaces and build your collection from the connections that you make with these artists.

Founded in 1922 in a townhouse at 1767 P Street, to promote and protect the interests of the residents, the Dupont Circle Citizens Association (DCCA) is the premier civic and residential organization in the Dupont Circle area.  DCCA brings neighbors, including residents, businesses and non-profit organizations, together to improve the quality of life in an active and diverse urban neighborhood. It holds membership meetings nine times each year, which are open to the public, organizes the Dupont Circle House Tour, resolves neighborhood issues through its committees, donates to local causes, and incubates innovative projects.
