Eventually the boundary changes of this year will affect the future of Dupont neighborhood kids' right to attend Wilson High School, but for the next few years some Dupont resident teens will continue to attend the noted Ward 3 public school. Neighbor and proud Wilson High parent Maureen Diner encourages us to support the school and enjoy a rare high school production of the musical Hair. Good Morning Starshine!

Details below.

WILSON HIGH SCHOOL PRESENTS: HAIR, the first rock musical, depicts the birth of a cultural movement in the `60s that changed America forever. The story follows a group of hopeful and free-spirited young people who advocate a lifestyle of pacifism and free-love in a society riddled with intolerance and brutality during the Vietnam War as they explore sexual identity, challenge racism, and burn draft cards. Featuring an exhilarating rock score, including favorites Aquarius, Hair, Easy to Be Hard, and Good Morning Starshine, the Tribe in Hair creates an irresistible message of hope, peace and change that continues to resonate with audiences of all ages over 40 years later.
