The Dupont Circle Citizens Association will hold its 48th Annual House Tour on Sunday, October 18 from noon to 5 pm.

Beasley Real Estate returns as presenting sponsor for the second year.

The tour houses will show the range of renovation options in the historic district from the full gut and restructuring of an historic shell to a modern transformation stylishly carried out within the original rooms.

This year will also feature an artists home and studio in a former carriage house, multi-story condos, and the mansion known as Lincoln House that is home to the National League of American Pen Women.

Tour-goers will also be treated to a "sneak preview" of the Dupont Underground, compliments of the Underground Arts Coalition.

The always lavish Afternoon Tea, included in tour admission, will be served at the gracious Heurich House Museum and Garden on New Hampshire Avenue.

Please note: This is a self directed  walking tour, with map and descriptive booklet provided. Sites are located over seven square blocks. Many sites are not handicapped accessible. Individual houses can include several flights of stairs.  This year again pedicabs will be available to ferry tourgoers along the tour route which encompasses 12 sites throughout the Dupont neighborhood.
