DCCA thanks St. Thomas’ Parish Church for hosting our annual meeting, along with all those who participated in the meeting, including (in addition to DCCA officers and Board members) Michael Beidler, for his fond reminiscences about Phil Polivchak, who passed away on March 20th and whose contributions to our community included many years as DCCA’s Treasurer, and people who have taken the lead in helping to achieve DCCA’s mission to keep our neighborhood clean, green, historic, safe, diverse and a fun and friendly place to live: Don Jones (Environment Committee Chair), Ed Grimm (2007 Dupont Circle House Tour Chair), ANC Commissioners Mike Silverstein and Bob Meehan (activists in our local schools), Phyllis Klein (a leader on local zoning and regulatory issues), and Gerry Schwinn and Iris Molotsky (two of the leaders of Dupont Circle Village, an aging in place initiative). |
